Pulse Organizational Vision

Pulse is seeking an energetic individual to assist in the overall operations of the Pulse organization. The successful applicant will work in partnership with the Pulse Board of Directors to provide opportunities in the four main organizational pillars including social activity, community involvement, wellness and professional development.
Responsibilities Overview / Skills
The ideal candidate must be a natural self-starter and demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Promotion and Social Media
Community development and engagement
Special event planning
Basic office administration
Terms of Employment
This is an 8 week grant based position in partnership with Canada Summer Jobs
Successful applicant must be 19+
Successful applicant must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution or returning to
one for the 2017-2018 school year.
Individual must a resident of one of Pictou County’s six municipal units including; New Glasgow, Pictou,
Trenton, Stellarton, Westville or the Municipality of Pictou County.
The successful applicant must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
